        The mission of the Reading P.T.O. is to provide enrichment, support, and assistance to the Reading Elementary School community through challenging learning activities that nurture mind, body, and spirit.

        Monthly meetings are held during the school year on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 P.M. in the Reading Elementary School library. There is not a meeting in December.

Recent P.T.O. sponsored activities/events:

Back-to-School Picnic, R.E.S. Open House, "BELIEVE" Fundraiser, Annual Fall Breakfast, Annual Pie/Bake Sale, Holiday Bazaar, Winter Ski/Snowboard Program (including busing), Annual Talent Show, Annual Town Meeting Luncheon, Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week, Graduation

For the 2009/2010 School Year, the P.T.O. has provided funding for six arts enrichment field trips.
